We've made the switch from highchair to booster seat at the table, from putting food directly on the tray to using a plate like a civilized little toddler :), from not bothering with silverware most meals to using forks and spoons each meal. Most of the motivation for all of this is to get the monstrosity of a highchair out of our kitchen, but also Griffin is showing a lot more desire to use a spoon and fork to eat. Tonight, we had pancakes and eggs for dinner, and our little man was clearly pleased as punch about the menu choice, even in spite of having come down with a bothersome cold.
