So, we have this little plastic pool, and I decided it would be a great idea to put it on the porch, put a bit of water in it, and have a place for Griffin to play in the water out of the sun, dirt, sand, and mosquitos. It's been ridiculously hot (the thermometer on my car is regularly in the triple digits), and it's almost necessary to be in the water if we're going to play outside. He loves it; however, there are certain flaws in the plan. First, the water that gets splashed around makes the porch pretty slippery, which can be more than a bit hazardous for a 1 year old. Second, I have absolutely no idea how I'm going to drain the water out of it to put fresh water in. Hm. Quandaries.
