I'm not sure why or how I started calling Griffin "Bubba," but I realized not too long ago that I was calling him that quite a bit. The only thing I can think of is that Oliver's brother, William, referred to Oliver as "bubba" (brother) growing up, and William now goes by "Uncle Bubba" for Griffin. But Griffin is neither my brother nor my uncle...obviously. It's not a nickname I would have consciously chosen for my child, but it is what it is. Hah.
