Our poor, sweet boy has had a fever for a couple days now, but he seemed well enough this afternoon to go for the first of many dips in the pool for the year. I think the water felt a bit chilly to him due to his fever, but he definitely enjoyed playing around in the water and being outside after being cooped up for days. Of course, I, myself, get good use out of the pool each summer. I love being able to go out and relax in the pool with a good book during his nap. South Carolina summer afternoons aren't really conducive to outdoor relaxing otherwise because they're so beastly hot and humid!
